Local independent insurance claim adjusting firm with a national presence, looking to expand our 1099 roster of Licensed Independent Adjusters, for a flow of daily Field assignments, across western Washington & all Puget Sound areas.

We handle assignments of all types; from photo & scope notes only, to full claims adjusting (state IA license required). We inspect for damages, document our observations, look for reasons to extend coverage, estimate for repairs, and provide reports to our clients.

- Part-time side gig OR Full-time career
- If you can look at something and "see" it's not supposed to be that way, you can do this work
- It's not hard, if you apply what you previously learned/trained, to the next assignment
- Attention to details, ability to learn new skills, initiative, timeliness, and composure under pressure are valuable traits
- How many files you accept and your range of operation, is up to you. You are in control of your time, scheduling & distance. Typical time is 2+ hours, depending on type, severity, complexity, distance.

APPRAISERS: $50/FILE + miles; not hourly (unless Licensed - see below)
- Automobiles/pickup trucks - from Tukwila/Renton north to Mount Vernon

- Other as needed/requested by clients

LICENSED ADJUSTERS (must have WA, or any state WA reciprocates): $35/HR + miles ($/hr increases with proven timeliness, reliability, accuracy, quality and independence) - based anywhere in Western WA & Puget Sound areas; specifically those listed below.

SPECIALTIES (one or more):
- Automobiles/pickup trucks - from Tukwila/Renton north to Mount Vernon ($100/file flat fee + miles> 50; not hourly)
- Residential/commercial Property
- Travel trailers/recreational vehicles/motor-homes/boats
- Semi trucks/trailers/containers/heavy equipment
- Cargo/Inland marine/Ocean marine
- Liability/Casualty
- On Scene
- Other as needed/requested by clients

Our assignments are typically along the I-5/405 corridors, from Canadian border to Oregon border; including the Olympic peninsula; just about anywhere within ~75 miles of Seattle/Tacoma/Bellingham/Port Townsend/Aberdeen/Olympia.

- MUST be locally based or deployed in Washington already, with time available for field assignment files
- NOT for remote assignments or work from home
- NOT a Storm deployment

We are a small firm, female and veteran co-owned. Will train and empower new inspectors, appraisers and adjusters, who demonstrate claims ability using a customer & client service mindset; no experience required.

- Mileage is paid at IRS rate + 100% of client paid fuel surcharges (currently $.99/mi TOTAL)
- NOT a W2 employee roster; 1099 ONLY (so you get to deduct expenses from taxes)
- No question is stupid; unless not asked and/or learned from. We support our field teams.
- No blame environment; we are all about getting the work done quickly, accurately and per the assignment details
