Required:

Must be able to work in the state of Florida
Must have reliable transportation
Able to lift 50+ lbs
Flexibility to adapt to different tasks

Problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of construction practices
Ability to properly use standard tools (ie: miter saw, drills, skil saw, hand tools)
Preferred:

Construction experience > 1 year

Full Job Description:

J&L Construction is looking to hire a motivated hard working individual to fill a skilled laborer position. J&L Construction is a local veteran and family-owned business. We specialize in home repairs and remodels. Anything from minor repairs to full residential remodels. We are looking for an individual to help with

general labor tasks such as project demo, job site cleaning, loading, and unloading of tools and materials. We are looking for someone with the ability to use basic tools and assist in the repairs and builds. Preferred applicants are those that have some previous experience in residential construction, such as in framing, tiling, sheetrock repair, painting, minor plumbing & electrical, trim installation. We are willing to train the right individual for a long-term employment opportunity. Evaluation after 60 days. Work hours are from 8:30-5:00 Monday - Friday, with weekends and holidays off.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
