Summary/Objective

Performs a variety of office support and/or administrative duties for the Operations Department, such as composing a variety of standard documents and correspondence, relaying and resolving routine telephone and/or walk-up inquiries, scheduling calendar items and meetings, making travel arrangements, processing forms, performing data entry, and establishing and maintaining records. Edits and proofreads documents to ensure accuracy. May perform duties involving simple mathematical calculations.

Performs a wide variety of assignments which may be confidential in nature and require research to complete; operates personal computer to compose, edit, revise, tabulate, and print letters, tables, reports, and other materials.
Greets and directs visitors, resolves routine administrative problems and answers inquiries concerning activities and operations of department/division; accepts, screens, and routes telephone calls; maintains log of inquiries as required.
Performs a range of staff and/or operational support activities; may serve as a liaison with other departments on basic administrative and/or operational matters.
Sorts, screens, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail, drafts or prepares responses to routine inquiries, and operates a variety of office equipment.
Establishes, maintains, processes, and updates files, records, certificates, and/or other documents.
Arranges meetings and conferences, schedules interviews and appointments, and performs other duties related to maintaining one or more individual schedules; makes travel and lodging arrangements, either directly or through travel agencies.
Orders, stocks, and distributes office supplies.
Performs basic, routine bookkeeping functions, which may involve simple billing and cash receipt activities.
May instruct and oversee the activities of student employees performing the same type of work.
May serve as Campus Security Authority as outlined by the Clery Act.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

1 year of administrative / accounting experience
Knowledge and understanding of Apple iOS Computer operating system
1-3 years Microsoft Office and or Google Office suites
Experience demonstrating analytic skills in a professional environment
Proven ability to work in past-paced deadline-orientated environment
Experience in payments industry is preferred, but not required
High School diploma; college preferred

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
