**Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm with some flexibility with schedule.**

SCOPE OF ROLE

Reporting to the Director, Residential Nursing Services, the Supervisor, Nursing-Residential will provide daily oversight, direction, and leadership to the Residential nursing team within their Signature Health location. You will be successful in this role by actively participating as a member of a patient-focused interdisciplinary care team and will manage the practice and delivery of nursing care by establishing clinical direction, providing clinical supervision, and maintaining quality outcomes. The Supervisor, Nursing-Residential will collaborate and assist the Director, Residential Services in all aspects of program development and personnel management.

HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED ____________________________________________________________________

Effectively supervise and oversee the daily objectives of the residential nursing team.
Be actively engaged when overseeing your team member’s individual performance which should include ongoing coaching, development, and meeting objectives through the annual review process.
Lead by example by providing ongoing communication, teaching, and training to team members.
Actively lead team meetings and process improvement initiatives to continuously improve work productivity, quality, and efficiency of the team.
Provide outstanding patient care from the point of treatment entry through early recovery, emphasizing rapid access and patient experience.
Execute strong patient care decisions and identify/resolve concerns affecting the delivery of patient care services.
Provide comprehensive nursing services and care to all residents and their support systems.
Assist in the coordination of care for other service lines including primary care, infectious disease, social work, and Counseling.
Assist in coordinating and documenting transitions of care, including transitions to a higher level of care or termination of services.
Monitor patient adherence to the treatment plan, ensuring all changes or deviations are communicated to the patient and the treatment team.
Assist with urine drug screens – ensuring urine drug screens are performed according to the treatment plan, and that relevant results are discussed by the treatment team.
Assist in coordination and supervision of buprenorphine induction, including educating, assessing, monitoring, and supporting patients throughout the process.
Assist in the coordination of initial administration of long-acting naltrexone or long-acting buprenorphine including educating, assessing, monitoring, and supporting patients throughout the process.
Complete appropriate prior authorizations and patient assistance forms.
Identify and ensure care delivery is maintained within the scope of practice for Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Medical Assistants who may be on the team.
Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, medication, and health promotion.
Participate in implementation quality Improvement assurance initiatives and utilization reviews to ensure current evidence-based care.
Provide excellent oversight and monitoring of program effectiveness through, but not limited to, chart reviews, defined outcome measures, variance reports, and individual and team supervision.
Conduct nursing assessments to determine eligibility for admission to the facility which includes receiving referral calls.
Ensure nursing coverage is maintained per regulations
Organize and maintain nursing schedules and PRN needs for coverage
Approve nursing PTO requests and approval of timecards
Assist in orientation, training, and competency completion
Complete APRs for assigned nursing staff
Comply with all agency policies and procedures.
Maintain all aspects of HIPAA, promoting patient confidentiality and right to privacy.
May be required to perform telehealth services as determined by Signature Health.
Adherence and completion of compliance training provided by Signature Health.
Responsible for and completing all productivity/documentation requirements.
Participate in all assigned staff meetings and staff development programs.
Demonstrate appropriate attendance and punctuality in adherence with Signature Health policies.
Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE ______________________________________________________________

Completion of an approved program in registered nursing required.
Valid unencumbered RN license in the state of Ohio required.
3+ years’ of total RN experience with 1+ years of nursing supervisor experience required.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
3+ years’ of residential nursing experience preferred.
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
A working knowledge of mental illness and the disease concept of chemical dependency.
Proficient with technology and electronic medical records.

WORKING CONDITIONS ___________________________________________________________________

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office/clinical work environment.
While hours of operation are generally standard, flexibility to work evenings, nights, holidays, weekends, and extended hours may be required.
Available by phone 24 hours, 7 days a week to address any nursing needs
Requires periods of sitting, standing, telephone, and computer work.
Hearing: adequate to hear clients or patients in person, over the telephone or through telehealth technology.
Speaking: adequate to speak to clients or patients in person, over the telephone or through telehealth technology.
Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
Physical effort required: occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 15 pounds, unassisted.
Possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens while performing job duties.
Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular workday.
Sufficient dexterity to operate a PC and other office equipment.
