This seems stupid. POTUS can not block people from criticizing him on TW? He does not have the same rights as all in the US? So, does this mean that the 1st Amendment means that I do not have the right to not let you know what I said to my wife? Does this mean that everyone in the US is allowed to know my conversation with the bank when buying a new car? If I ask the Rite Aid clerk for a box of condoms, does this mean that I need to ensure everyone in the US can know my selection? What about those people in some poor country, Can I block them from hearing it? Next, will they say that POTUS can not protect Classified material, and he is required to give it to Chinese Intelligence Officers? How far will this court case go? I went far, but I worry about the stupidity of this court decision and their interpenetration of 1st Amendment. KGB/SRV may sue the USGov for not disclosing our classified material??!!!!

This is stupid. Blocking someone does not interfere with their freedom of speech. It's legal for the president to block entry into the White House, to block who can call him on his private telephone line, who can enter Air Force I, who can enter his limo, who can come within 10 yards of him, and it is legal to limit all sorts of access to the President.

So, NYTimes blocks me after 3 articles a month. I need to tell the Judge to get them....how can they block me....just because they want money? (Sarcasm....I am a a Capitalist, but someone might think that is correct.)

It would be a different story if Trump was blocking critics from an official POTUS Twitter account. But his personal account should remain his personal property. What a woefully ignorant judge.
This says why "In her ruling, Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald, who was appointed to the federal bench in 1999 by President Bill Clinton..."

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff - Are you sure? How do you know which is his personal and his Gov account. Are you saying he never had a personal account? I think he did and if he used it before being a politician that would indicate it was a personal account. Is this your Gov or your Personal RallyPoint account? We could all fall under this. Not sure what the judge was thinking.

Capt Gregory Prickett - So answer this question sir, if President Trump blocked someone on Twitter BEFORE he was elected president, is that a violation of that user's 1st Amendment right? If any private person blocks any other private person from their personal social media, are those persons being silenced?

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff - Actually, your title says you are currently on active duty and a member of the Army. You are a leader. I believe your G-1 can tell you what regs pertain to your implementation of Public Records Act. If you work on writing regulations, policies or changes that will take place in the Army....you are under the Public Records Act. The Army has it's own implementation rules, which comply with DoD...and NARA. If you work in the 5 sided building, your G-1 will read you the riot act for not knowing this. ((If you work on any large task force for hacker PII loss...keep your records!!!! We brought the G-1 into the task force to keep out of trouble.)

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff - I sure hope there are people who are writing policy and regs on a forum of 600K+ members. Granted I did that much more when I was in civil service at DHS, DOE and later Army 2 star HQ. I am pretty sure there is a G-1 in your chain. Your 2 star, 3 star and 4 star level will have G-1s. One of those will be FORSCOM, AMC or TRADOC. A second 4 star level will be the Army G-1. They are some writing reg and policy busy people. We all work for the Pentagon when working in the Army, both as a greensuiter or civilian. (I often had to remind civilians that...and strangely they never thought of that before.)
