Army ran into a I-A opponent for a change, Ken Kraetzer. Playing three I-AA opponents doesn’t exactly prepare you to play against worthy opponents.
Army had only 33 yards in the air and attempted a fake punt on their own 17 yard line. Tulane never trailed in the contest.
Army next faces another cupcake, Georgia Southern, and is barely favored. I hope Army wins, but another L won’t surprise me.

Ok they played a bad 1Q and 2H. Tulane is a good team. Many of us thought they should have started or played Cade Ballard the young QB who had started the last two games and won them both. Army had 9 its 12 scheduled games canceled second week of August and they had to schedule virtually anyone they could. They had BYU and Air Force cancel games because of Covid at their schools. Army had a bad day and made a gamble at the end that will effect the coaches reputation, after he said if they had just punted with five mins left down two scores, it would be conceding the game. Army ahs won a lot of games the last four years, three bowl games two CinCs, earned two White House visits, they just had a bad game. Ga Southern is Coach Monken's former school, they will give Army everything they have.
