The tuition to DeVry University (formerly known as DeVry Institute of Technology when I attended) to kick off my education to get my degree in electronics engineering. That first tri-semester took almost all I saved the last year I was in the Marines. After I got it all going I stashed my GI Bill payments to pay for subsequent tri-mesters.

SP5 Sheldon Behensky - Yep. The moved at some point to Campbell Ave. I think it might have been about 77? Did you have your graduation at Lane Tech High School?

No real ceremony. Just got our certificates for completing the two year technician course.

Things were different then. I think that most of us were happy just to make it through all of the classes and get their certs. A lot of the people in my class like myself were Vietnam vets looking for something better.
