I applied to the 70B board on 3/27/19 and the my AMEDD recruiter told me that the board approved my packet and now I am in the Order of merit list. What this means and how this process works?

The Medical Recruiting Brigade uses the OML to create a list of qualified candidates that were competitive but not selected. This means they have filled their requirement but create an OML Incase any of those selected decline the commission or if ROTC/West Point fail to meet thier accession mission for MSC Officers. Again, being on the OML is better than being non-selected. Your recruiter should have explained this to you. Again, OML means qualified but no vacancy exists. Good luck.

Order of merit list....a list with candidates listed in order of their merit, 1 through n (n= total number of candidates). Best to not best. Would assume that is the order you'll get called to duty until they run out of slots.
