(Join to see) Below are the basic requirements:

For Enlisted Soldiers

To become an enlisted Soldier in the U.S. Army, you must:

Prove you are U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card (officially known as a Permanent Resident Card)
Be between 17-35 years old
Achieve a minimum score on the ASVAB test
Meet medical, moral, and physical requirements
Be a high school graduate or equivalent

For Officers

Becoming an Army Officer is different from enlisting as a Soldier. Officers are responsible for leading Soldiers and planning missions. Training and initial requirements for accepting a commission as an Officer vary, but generally, to qualify you must:

Be a college graduate by the time you are commissioned as an Officer
Be between 18 and 32 years old
Meet medical, moral, and physical requirements
Eligible for a secret security clearance

thanks for your answers. it's complete.

the only problem for me is that green card and secret security clearance. how can I get them? (green card is priority)
(as I said I ain't rich)
I've read some sites said I can get them through student visa and working visa. but my question is : should I waste a lot of time for studying something and working in it that has no relation with my primary goal and interest? this is really waste of time.

Do you have any advice for this?
I really like to know how get though this part.

I have another question too :
If I work in Iran military for a period of time, and I quit, Can I join US army or they'll reject me?

and last question :
Can I become an army officer later if I enlist as a soldier? (no matter how, I just want to know it's possible or not.)

I am impressed by the constrained professionalism of the responses here.

You want to know whats great about The United States of America? I had two soldiers in my command who were both from Guatemala.

One of them was a former guerrilla fighter against the government. The other was a former Guatemala federal military officer. They literally were on opposing sides of an active war, and now serve together as US Soldiers in the same unit.

One of them is a Chief Warrant Officer (the same citizenship standards apply for him as a commissioned officer). It took him decades of his life to get there from where he started in life.

Can one from within Iran reach the open internet and RallyPoint of all places without being watched by Iranian counter intelligence?

The moment anyone here in the USA makes contact with terrorist internet sights the FBI is all over them and recording every key stroke.

Also, to piggy back off of Sgt (Join to see) there are a couple red flags with Iran natives. 1) you are considered an adversary 2) your desire to join the US Army during an increase in tensions between the 2 nations.

You MUST have a form of legal residence within the US prior to application

right answer.

How can I have a form of legal residence ?

and as I said, I prefer cheap and straight ways. because I'm not rich and I really think it's stupid to go through a path like studying visa to study something which is unrelated to my goal and I ain't interested in it.

Ok, red flag number 3, you want to bypass the required steps to become a legal resident of the US. Unfortunately, we will not be able to help you. Your motivation for wanting to join the US Army is unknown. You reside and are a resident of a foreign nation who literally wants to wipe us off the map. You don’t think this seems just a tad suspicious?(Join to see)

SSG (Join to see) - I really don't want to bypass, I just don't want to waste my time on impractical and unrelated things, when I can focus on my goal and become professional in it. Well, I can't disagree with you about what you said. you're right and I know a lot of people did bad things in these ways. My motivation for joining army is because since when I was 8 and I liked no other job, I always wanted to join army. I still want it and that's all I like, and I like it so much. but I chose US army, because of my personal interest. I like US, I see it as a competent, focused, valuable and capable country, it's one of my favorite countries, I like US and its army. that's all of my motivation, but I think there's no way for me to prove these things, I wish there were.

anyway, thanks for you answers. :)

Your sentiments are immaterial. The PRIMARY POINT is that you are looking for ways to VIOLATE/ CIRCUMVENT US LAW in order to achieve what you claim to be a 'lifelong goal.'
There is no one in this venue who is able to help you and I seriously doubt is willing.

As for myself, in addition to my 34 year US Army career, in numerous capacities, I worked 10+ years in various capacities with the US Immigration Service - There are too many unanswered questions, not to mention questionable motivation in your query.

My best suggestion - you cannot get there from where you are. ( NOTE TO ALL: I question the legitimacy of this thread)
