I create an idealized version of myself; when I sing! I certainly don't fake it though. Singing is a lot of hard work. @Sgt Eric Mitchell

I suggest, be yourself. Nothing fake. Honesty and integrity should be ingrained to your personality. If not in your youth, certainly as older professionals.
Once trust is lost, it is very difficult to regain. Plus, I am of the opinion we should seek what G-d desires us to do. Not want we desire. King Solomon stated as much.
Have a good afternoon Sgt.

To be honest, NO, it doesn't work. In fact speaking from seeing it happen. Most executives that you try to sell to can run numbers in their head faster than you can invent them. When they see a glitzy car and all the bling but hear absolute BS comming out of someones mouth it tends to scare them more than anything and most suspect your doing something illegal. Better to be honest. Now if you read Trump's books he subscribes to the notion that you should attempt to BS your current position for better terms. Again though if you do business with stupid people that might work but most independent business folks are pretty intelligent and can tell within a 15-20 min conversation if your being honest or blowing smoke in their face.
