I can help anyone looking for how to accomplish this in the state of Texas, but it has to be done as soon as possible within the first year after leaving service. S/he also has to have some sort of contact with his/her last commander in service.

If you hit the two year mark, I'm not saying you can't try, but the requirement is to have experience driving the equipment within the last two years. It can be for Class A, or B depending on your experience.
