Congresswoman and former A-10 Combat Pilot and Squadron Commander McSally is going to do a part 2 of shredding USAF Brass. I hope Senator John McCain recovers from his brain cancer to grill them as well. Both were CAS veterans.
The F-35 being the ill-fitted replacement for the A-10 Warthog will result in many soldiers/Marines on the ground dying due to lack of ordinance of the F-35 and many F-35 Pilots being killed as well because their planes cannot take 23 mm anti-aircraft gun ordinance. They can't even take 5.56 mm LOL

Should be a total shit show, Major. I don't share your thoughts on McCain, however. While he was in favor of the A-10 the rest of his efforts have been largely self serving.

LTC (Join to see) - I didn't say I wanted him to die, I just don't put any value on his opinions. He was right about the A-10 but If it didn't affect Davis-Monthan AFB I don't know that he would've been that engaged.

TSgt David L. thank you for putting it into a context I can understand. He may be a jerk and you may have screwed over the Air Force but a personal friend of mine was testifying in front of Senator John Kerry who was giving my friend a hard time on his committee testimony and John McCain helped my friend a full bird colonel at the time, on how to deal with that a whole when he tries to nail you with rhetorical questions on the stand. Senator McCain may not be perfect and he may have wronged the Air Force but he did help out my friend who's now 75 years old and told me about this few months back. Thank you for letting me know your feelings concerning Senator McCain!

LTC (Join to see) - I know he had to have done good things. I'm glad he was able to help your friend. It just seems that he has flipped sides on most issues and isn't representing the folks who voted him in. Not that any of those in Congress do I guess.

I'm disappointed this looks like it's becoming a political football flyoff... not getting input from the Air Force Joint Terminal Attack Controllers is a big mistake.
