Can you enlist into AD as prior service after being chartered out of USAR?

I’ll start with this: I was a lazy dumb ass.
Question is, I was chaptered out seven years ago from USAR after 6 years of service for being an unsatisfactory participant and received a reduction and under other than honorable discharge. At the time my work schedule as a full time police officer conflicted greatly with drill dates and I wasn’t able to work with my unit to make up missed drills. I am now wanting to re-enlist active duty. With appropriate waivers would it be possible and how likely? Looking for recruiters or others with this experience.

It has been fun but I want a career change after 11 years. Looking at the 17C Cyber Operations job. Matches my college degree in cyber security. Plus Dallas PD is a nightmare to work for.

Highly unlikely. Your story doesn’t make sense. I and probably everyone else on this site will agree that no police department would have an issue with a reservist attending drill when needed. I believe you are leaving out a lot from this story.
1: what is your RE code?
2: why would the army want you back if you performed so poorly in the past?
I believe you received an RE-4, which is non waiverable

AN (Join to see) - It's not that hard. It depends on what you are wanting to do...willing to take...that makes it hard. I spend 5.5 years out of service and when I came back in....yea it was Reserves (because they offered me a buttload of money)....the hardest part was losing the weight. I was in MEPS, sworn in, and left MEPS all in the same day.

SSG (Join to see) he has a blank 214 because it's from a USAR period of activation. For the Reserves, a 214 isn't a discharge, it's a record of any active duty greater than 90 days. For the Reserves discharges they receive separation orders that state the nature of their discharge

Update: So as it stands now, I am allowed to re-enlist no formal waiver or board required. I do not know what reasons they based their decision on, but the commander of my recruiters unit approved it. I’ll be going to MEPS after my medical review is completed.
