If you were 17 again by some magic, would you join based on what you see in today's military?

I see many times where we old folks will say something like "that's not the Navy I was in" or "the Army today ain't what it used to be" or comments along that line. Leads me to wonder, if you were 17 again by some magic, would you join based on what you see in today's military?
