This isn't directed at you, but I have always seen that as a big problem. And this is why I have seen too many NCOs in positions they don't belong in.

SPC Kortney Kistler I think the issue is more broad than that. There are plenty who should not even make is past Basic and AIT. I was a drill sergeant during the surge of Afghanistan. Many troops should of 1.) Not been allowed in and 2.) Not been pushed through for numbers. My BN didnt play that game. Either you made it or you didnt.

Notification is sent to your Chain and your CSM. Then you will have some explaining to do. Then pray you can get another shot at ALC in the future.

Lots of splaining.... MSG (Join to see). I can still remember when Soldiers from a unit I was in had similar issues, it was usually the entire chain of command to the Division or Corps CSMs office to explain how we allowed the person to attend in the 1st place...

Why would you SSG (Join to see)? You need to do what it takes to complete the course in a satisfactory manner. If not, your future in the Army will be limited.

Because yoy are not prepared. For instance, I see 25B's come to my school who haven't done anything related to their MOS in years. And there isn't time to teach them all the 10 level material again. We do what we can....
