I recently graduated from 79S SLC at Fort Jackson, SC. I came into this class thinking that it would be a waste of time and I would not learn anything different.

I have to say I was completely off on this initial assessment. The course was tough, educating and expanded my knowledge base of my job due to my peers. I am very happy I attended this course.

Previously, I would rate my PLDC, BNCOC (Ph.1 and 2) as subpar where I did not learn anything of value. Has the NCOES system changed?

I would like to know if anybody has any similar experiences.

I am about to complete BLC and I gotta say, I thought I knew just about everything there was to consider myself knowledgeable to take on the next level, but I gotta say, I was wrong. In just the first 7 days of school, I learned quite a bit on ways to look at things differently. I would like to think BLC is a good course and isn't just a "check the box" experience.
