My school is only a month long, and there are two phases too it. I cant really find alot of info on how grading and or how testing works. If anyone can tell me or give me an idea that would be awesome. Also, im active duty not reserve since this is a reserve base.

SPC Salazar, assuming that you are either Reserve/National Gaurd Componet (My apologies, if that statement is incorrect). I am most certain that the grading will be IAW Army standards obtaining 70% on your test and receiving Go's on practicals and/or hands-on/evaluations. I'm surprised that you did not receive some form of welcome packet from the course that you are attending. Recommendations would be to contact the Course at Hunter Liggett or get with you BDE/BN Training NCO to help locate the answers you need. Just with all things in the Army and life, give 100%. Attention to detail and study. You can never fail by down that. I hope your career change is rewarding for you. I have been an MP (Active) and have loved every minute of it.

SPC (Join to see) - Get some tabs for the reference pages.. The wittiness and sworn statement were the most difficult for me.. common sense was out the window.. DETAILS, DETAILS, DETAILS. It is the small details that can get you that NG.. Reason for the details is that the defense can get it thrown out if it is not correct. Letter of the Law and all..

SPC (Join to see) As a 31B, I can attest that SFC Conner is correct. To elaborate, there will be paper exams, primarily focused on your knowledge of Military Police Operations (which can be found in FM 3-39), which use the 70/100% pass system. PEs will be Go/No Go, and will include such things as vehicle searches, felony traffic stops, weapon deconstruction and reconstruction, and your M9 qualification.

Caveat: This information is approximately 2-3 years old, and was acquired from Ft. Leonard Wood's MP OSUT course.

It wasn't that bad. I reclassed there about 8 yrs ago. We got a 4 day weekend in the middle I rented a car and went and saw the sights in San Francisco. The classes where pretty easy. I mean it's a typical military class you would have to try hard to actually fail.
