I came into the Army from the Navy. When I got too my until, I didn't know anything. By the time I fully understood what it took to get promoted, I was in my until for 7 years. The problem I was Combat Support in an MP until. All our slots we're being taken by the MP's. So I did an interstate transfer to Nevada and only took me 3 years before I was able too get it.

SSG Keven Lahde - Again congrats, and I'm sure the learning curve coming from one branch to the other is hell, but DAMN!! Your name should've been blaring on the Commanders list as to why isn't this guy promoted, and I have to ask (not anything against you), but where the hell were your NCO's? I've heard of folks catching hell promoting in the Reserves and NG (I was AD, so it's different), but seven years, and only after you made a jump is BS. Again that's not a dig on you.
