My husband was just told that he is slotted for SLC on the same exact date that he is to start his reclass for 25D. Is this even possible? Wouldn't he do his reclass before going to SLC?

Just have him get with his career counselor. They will deconflict his class dates.
They will move his SLC date after is 25 d class ends. He will keep the 68w SLC class date just in case he fails the course. When he graduates they will delete the 68w SLC class and reschedule him with a 25 d SLC class seat.

Yes. Is the SLC class for 25D or his current MOS? It’s quite possible that he might go to SLC immediately after graduation. When I went through last year, I went through the 14-week 25D course, came back for five weeks, then went back to Fort Gordon for the 8-week SLC, and my household goods were being picked up less than a week later.

He just looked and it has his SLC for his current MOS (68W) and not for the 25D

I don’t recommend that he try to go 68W SLC before his 25D class date, because all 25Ds have to go to SLC, even if they’ve already gone to SLC. A lot of my SLC classmates were already SFCs and MSGs.

What does ATRRS say- you can’t get pushed into a R for two courses at once. If his training staff is trying to hook him up you’re on here putting him on blast with his G3.

He was just told my his 1sg on Friday that he was slotted for SLC on the same date as his reclass. He was not aware that anything was happening with SLC because he needs to reclass first then go to SLC for his new MOS. I'm not blasting anyone. My husband is the one that wants this information because he isn't trying to get in trouble for not being at place of duty when they are wanting him at two different places at the same time. His ATTRS says he is reserved for his current MOS SLC on the same day he starts his reclass.

What is his para line? I would de conflict with either the schools NCO in the 3 shop or who ever does the ATRRS input at his unit. That’s why I asked about ATRRS, he can look at his own on AKOLTJG (Join to see)
