Just my .02 but anybody trying to gain Intel for SFAS is going to get the same response from any of us SF qualified guys. Never quit. You're always being assessed. Do yourself a favor and let the Cadre tell you you're not what they are looking for at this time. If you quit you're letting yourself down. Why go through all that pain if you're just going to quit when it gets tough? It's going to be tough. It's going to be the hardest thing you have ever done. SFAS is just the first step. It's going to get harder so if you contemplate quitting during that part you're in for a rough ride.

Next, Ruck Ruck Ruck. I know, I know. It goes without saying. Throw a 45lb - 50lb ruck on and move out. No need to go over that. Of course you will be carrying heavier at times but just get used to carrying that for long distances.

Quit asking what to expect. The course is designed so everything is unexpected. You have no idea how far or how long you will be marching/running/lifting/PTing. Quit asking. The long tab carrying guys will never tell you anyway.

Be where you are suppose to be in the correct uniform.

Be mentally prepared upon arrival.

Have your family affairs in order before arriving.

Be physically fit and ready for anything.

Have an understanding of land Navigation

Drink water.

That's all you will get out of me. No more, no less. What was given to you just now by me was more than I was told when I went through.

You're welcome
