I got out 6 years ago and I'm currently over RCP for e4 with 8 years and 7 months TIS. I know that I'm not able to reenter Active Duty as enlisted so I have been working with a National Guard recruiter. A friend of mine mentioned the "Street to Seat" flight warrant program as he knows my goal is to fly eventually. I was wondering if my RCP status would prohibit me from entering Active Duty since I would have to come back in as an e4 to complete BCT again and as well as WOCS?

Contact Warrant Officer recruitment and explain your situation to them. They can give you the real answers rather than peoples best guesses.

That's a great idea. I hadn't thought of that. Thank you, sir. I'll reach out to them.

When you get out, and then decide to come back in, your DOR gets recalculated.

SSG Duke Allen - Roger. Understood. But when I came back in after a 5.5 year break with about 10 yrs service, my DOR was recalculated to where RCP wouldn't affect me. My pay reflected 10 yrs of service but my DOR recalculation deflected the RCP concern.
