Future Operations Officer

Oversaw a staff composed of 6 directors whom collectively were responsible for 400 employees to ensure the workings of a robust 24/7 strategic airport, which employs over 15,000 servicemen and civilians. Interfaced daily with employees of various agencies to facilitate airfield operations, live fire ranges, training, security, and visits by Congressmen. Formally awarded for continuous superb performance as project manager (PM) for over 20 official visits, with officials ranging from local leadership to Presidential cabinet. PM for Blue Angels visit, was awarded their “2016 Airshow of the Year” award.

Prepared to brief the President or Secretary of Defense in the event of a ballistic missile attack on U.S. soil and the planned and unplanned maintenance cycles on a Billion+ dollar defense system around the globe. #1 of 40 mid-grade officers, 2014 Field Grade Officer of the Year. Missile Defense Officer Course Honor Graduate (#1).

Performed all duties of the Commanding Officer in his absence. Responsible for the health and well-being of 410 people. Oversaw the day to day running of the unit, to include physical security of buildings, administration, logistics, legal issues, individual combat readiness, discipline, professional mentorship of subordinate coworkers, intelligence and security requirements, and the building’s communications network. Recognized for exemplary performance, to include leading the unit through an intense inspection that covered all areas resulting in a score distinction of “mission ready.” Lead PM for a 15-person team that resulted in the replacement of $700 Million dollars of equipment and exchange of over 100 employees in the span of six months.
