Platoon Sergeant
Mentored and coached the 95% reservist unit (meaning always were reservists). Since I served 7 years active duty prior to joining this unit, I added the value of what MARINES really stood for, and during this time I increased the awareness of the troops. Boots were shined when they reported in, they spoke with authority, and yes sir, and yes ma'am ... I was appalled when I arrived to see a bunch of scumbags (of all ranks)! Lastly, I prepared Marines mentally and physically for potentially going to Desert Storm.
