Airborne Ranger qualified Infantry Officer, active duty from '84-'92 after ROTC at Florida State in Tallahassee, served with 25th ID in Hawaii and 10th Mtn at Fort Drum, New York. Left active duty, did private security work, financial planning and ultimately became a small business owner (laser tag). Six post 9/11 mobilizations (three stateside, three down range) specializing in Civil Affairs.

Civil Affairs officer on a State department Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) embedded with the Marines in Al Anbar province during the "surge".

Mobilized from the IRR for duty in Iraq as a Civil Affairs team leader. Personally planned, resourced and led 257 combat patrols.
