10 year Military Veteran; Air Force Broadcaster/Public Affairs Specialist. Recent graduate from The University of Texas at Tyler. Obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Graduated from a 60 hour CACREP accredited counseling program. 100 hours Practicum experience (40 direct and 60 indirect). 600 Internship hours (240 direct and 360 indirect). Completed Master’s program in 2 years. Fast paced learner with desire to work with clients one-on-one or in group setting. Especially interested in working in Crisis environment with emphasis on Suicide and Suicide Prevention. Currently working on 2nd Master's degree in Public Administration. Desires to one day run and manage a Non-Profit counseling organization. Will apply to PhD programs at the end of the year.
