Bio

In 1992, I came off Active duty and went into the Ready Reserve receiving the VSI. During the time between 1992 and 2005 when I joined a TPU unit in Florida, I work many different jobs, but the one that helped me the most was a company I started myself. I rennovated single family homes. My business was successful up to the time I was notified of a tour to Iraq. Married, 1 adopted Daughter, 2 dogs, 1 cat, & 9 chickens. I Live on 5 acres of trees with no neighbors within at least 1 acre; a very rural area. I am extremely computer literate, programming in multiple languages. My specialty with computers is hardware though. I've worked in that industry, but after Iraq, I changed direction and my ultimate goal is to obtain a Masters in Education heavy in math and science.

Military Experiences

Apr 2012 - Aug 2012
104th TD
S4 Logistics NCOIC
S4 NCOIC for the Forward Support Element in support of the LDAC/LTC mission Warrior Forge 2012. Responsible for all Reservists arriving at this base for training of cadets during their Basic Training initiative. I was responsible for all Logistics concerning these Reservists acting as Instructors for the mission they were to conduct. I received an ARCOM for my tour, and I also distributed by recommendations several ARCOMS and AAM;s for the Soldiers under my command. I was asked, in person, from the Division CSM and Commander to return the following year to do the job I did, the following year. Unfortunately, I was unable to do so because I was in the process of finishing my AA in Education and unable to return the next year.
Sep 2006 - Jan 2008
Logistics NCO Trainer
Team Spectre originally named Team 4011 out of Ft. Riley, KS was an external MiTT Team to advise an Iraqi Battalion in Baghdad, Iraq in all aspects. My job was to advise the Supply NCO of that unit (1-1-6) and to help in any way I could to get supplies they needed, as well as get their vehicles repaired in a timely manner. I was also the TIFF agent for funds used to get items they could not get themselves. Our overall accomplishments with that unit was stated that we collectively increased their productivity by roughly 80%.
1988 - 1992
Senior Supply Sergeant
Served as Supply Sergeant, doing all the wonderful things that Supply Sergeants do for 4 years. Our entire unit was moved in 1990 to Ft. Sill, OK
1986 - 1987
Team Leader
I was a Team Leader for an Atomic Demolition Squad, training with Special Atomic Demolition Munition (SADM). My squad consisted of 7 Soldiers ranked E5 thru E4. Our mission was to prep the SADM and emplace in special targets as directed by higher command. This position in this unit required a Top Secret with Backgound Investigation (TS/BI) security clearance by all personnel. I held this clearance from 1980 until 1988 when the MOS 12E was disbanded.
