It not easy to find that happy medium between hard ass and to easy on the troops. I believe the key is delegating responsibility to your junior NCO's . Not only a lot of problems can be handled on a lower level but it gives leaderships to junior NCO. You just have to handle the hard stuff. God Bless and thank you for your service.
