What is the timeline for getting an answer on my DD-368 Conditional Release?

Hello,
I filed a CR 19/08/19 and it made its way up to USARC COC. I talked to a full bird, my battallion commander, and my unit's CWO4 (current unit commander) in a quick "meeting" of sorts 19/10/19, and was informed by the colonel and my BC (lt colonel) that they had both signed the paperwork the previous day and would be sending it up. This last week the SFC helping me with my paperwork told me that whoever is above the colonel had not signed (?) my paperwork and sent it back to battallion (?) with a reccomendation to try AGR or TOD. The issue is, for personal reasons, I NEED to go Active Duty. My SFC told me it's possible for the battallion to "override" the General's statement as they "know me better, and know the situation," but my recruiter said whatever the General says, goes.
I guess my question is, what's the timeline as of now on my answer, if you could guess, and/or, at this point, since it has made it ALL the way up to whoever is above the full bird, will they let me go active or not?

The first GO in your chain of command is the approval authority in the regulation. Everyone else is endorsing with a recommendation.

SPC (Join to see) - my second question is did the General Officer actually disapprove the action, or did the staff send it back with that recommendation. It's important and makes a difference in how you proceed.
Sometimes Commanders give blanket guidance, like "I'm not approving any <insert exception to policy issue>, from here on out". That may have been a year ago. Since the gatekeepers on the staff know that, they'll return actions knowing what they know. The situation that spurred that may have come and gone. The recommendation on your returned action sounds like they are getting pounded over strength management numbers, so no one that is satisfactorily participating is getting let go.
Work through your chain of command. Request an office call and have a hand carried copy with you so that if you plead your case, they can approve while the iron is hot. Wear your best uniform and look as squared away as possible. If the GO actually disapproved it, you don't have much choice here except Try again later, like 6 months.
PS. There is no universe where a Brigade Commander "overrides" a General Officer. Depending on their personal relationship, the BC may be able To go in and ask him to change his mind. This is highly variable. If the O6 Brigade Level commander doesn't offer to do that, it isnt on the table. For all you know, the O6 commander may have been growled at for recommending approval to lower their own numbers.

My unit admin attached a note, he said, with the paperwork that stated since I was so far away, no matter what, my battalion was going to lose me, and I would be transferring out anyways, whether it be to a new reserve unit or active duty.
I don’t even know how much of what they’re telling me is truthful, though.
