For all Marines, and those who gave their all. I truly wish my scars could be Erased. Every time I hear someone who off the cuff says "Thank You for your service" I say your welcome, however in my head I am wondering if their parents were the ones who called me a Baby Killer, Rapist, and murderer, were their parents the ones who spit on me, caused my CO to say that if you want to go out for a drink don't do it alone. So I say thank you, and hope that someday before I pass, to hear with sincerity and feeling "Thank You for Your Service."

Fuck those Ho Chi Minh-coddling communist-loving hippies to the deepest pits of hell for their treatment of our Vietnam vets!! A pox be upon Hanoi Jane Fonda, Tom Hayden, et al!

I disappeared into the world on my return from Nam. Not that the hippies or war protesters bothered me in the least. I truly didn’t know how to fit in. I learned that all I had to do with any of the bastards that I faced on a daily basis was to stand tall and proud. I was only challenged one time and it was all I could do not to kill the hippy, so I tuned out of social networks, I suffered from intense anxiety, and gradually adjusted to civilian life.
I learned to hate everything about socialism, communism, and liberalism. Jane Fonda, John Kerry, Clinton, Obama, Oprah, Bernie Biden, Gore all make me see red. Ginsberg, pelosi, Waters, Sharpton, and Schumer are just evil. Time heals most everything. It doesn’t heal stupid.

I know that it is unbecoming of a Marine to show emotions, but I can't help but tear up every single time I hear Taps being played. When I was in the 8th grade, I have been playing the coranet (yes my spelling sucks) for about a year. I was asked to play taps at a VFW hall. I was up in what had been the projector room of the meeting hall. I watched and listened to what was said. When it was time to play Taps. There was this echo in the building. It gave me chill's. Okay I will be quite and brouse though UTube in search of other tid bit's of knowledge. Got a couple of more Marine Corp tribute videos. SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
