Seriously, we did the math at AAS, about six thousand pushups, several tower rapells and one or two free rapells from a helicopter. Best of luck!

I was there in March of 1996. I doubt that they've made a lot of changes..
Push-ups, lots of push-ups! You're going to get that on Day Zero.
You're also going to get a packing list of gear that must be brought with you. If you are unit training NCO is worth anything, you will have that in advance. Make sure that you have everything and that is all clean and serviceable. Pay attention to everything the black shirts (instructors) say and do as you're told. It's going to be demanding no matter what and tiresome at times. Pay attention and don't get sloppy. The physical aspect was the hardest part for me is but I got through it. I'm not sure what else to tell you. I wish you well and one last thing.. Air Assault!
