How do I get a Warrant Officer Recommendation for a 153A position (for my WO packet)? Should I make the reccomendation on my own and have them sign it (would it be easier)?

It must be a warrant in that MOS that’s a W3-W5. A good warrant will only right a letter of recommendation if he knows that you work hard and good at your mos. Some warrants may write one if you ask them. Just remember a letter of recommendation is a reflection of that warrant.

If you I would find an aviation unit near you and go sit down and ask to talk with one who would be able to help. He could get an idea where you want your career to go, and guide you through the finer points. I am sure he could help you or at least find the time to write you a letter.
