Hello, all! I'm just trying to get a feel of what more I need to do to be competitive. All of my previous Warrants have told me I should put my packet together, which I've already started doing. For the record, I meet the minimum requirements for a Warrant Selection. Here's a little about my career:

•TIS:6.5 years
•TIG: 1.5 year
•1 Deployment( OEF)
•Battle Field Promotion to SPC
•4 Stellar NCOERS
•MOS: 13R Radar
•66 Credits of College
•289 PT Score
•DHG in AIT
•SSD 3 completed
•ALC Grad

Your Warrant Officers know you better than anyone here on RP. If they see the potential in you and are backing your decision then good luck to you. Strong endorsements from your senior WOs along with your achievements will pave the way for you. Best wishes.

If you meet these prerequisites, you're competitive:

"How competitive", on the other hand, depends on your evaluations, letter of recommendation, et cetera compared to the other applicants.

One of our jobs as Warrant Officers is to recruit our replacements. If your Warrants are encouraging you to submit a packet, my advice is to submit the packet.

The only thing is finding an 131A in your COC.

You didn't mention GT score but either way you gotta start by ensuring you meet the minimum requirements. Once you know you have met that seek out the warrants in your battalion/brigade and plead your case.
