Bill, It sure has. This pic was taken at the HQ, 1st MEB, MCAS, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii operations and planning conference room on January 24, 1992. I was the only one promoted in the MEB that I’m aware of. Our G-6, CEO, LtCol select, Maj Shutters and my wife pinned on my CWO3. I only got to serve in 1st Maint.Bn. as Gunny. That’s where I got selected to 2805 and was promoted with another Marine Sergeant by my BN CO. Yes Bill time does fly by. I’ve been retired now for 25 years and everyday I reminisce about my past life in the Corps. Bill, thank a lot Marine. It means a lot coming from another Chief Warrant Officer of Marines. Semper Fi!
