We have been trying to bring attention to this matter for more than a few years. Promises where made only for those who made those promises to sacrifice us for tax cuts. Representative Joe Wilson being among them. However as I said before we do have willing partners in the new Congress. I had the pleasure of speaking with Patti Ross of speakers office. She is incharge of all legislation concerning veterans and the VA. We discussed the pay increase for disabled Veterans. And it was refreshing to hear someone a clear understanding of the VBA system and be on the page as we are. She expressed a desire to get it something done. She also explained that there is an estimated 51 billion dollars in new unpaid spending for the VA healthcare system from the VA choice program. This is going caused problems in funding especially with the tax cuts the Republicans passed. The VA health care system will likely hit spending barriers before the end of the year. So this is the main priority as of right now. But if they can get it taken care of VBA will be next on the list. But our biggest problem will be the Republican Senate and getting them to agree with funding measures. She also said that we should continue to let our voices be heard.00

If do the bill to pass ONLY about the VA and Veterans it will pass. It's when they add on stuff that ISN'T part of US, is when it doesn't PASS.

Sorry the problems won't be with the Republicans, the Democrats have stopped all bill until the impeachment goes their way.
