On average how long is it taking to get promotion approval and orders?

I'm curious how long my fellow officers are waiting for their promotions to get approved and receive orders. My state promotion order was signed July 10th and submitted, but is still sitting at scroll created 0 days in DoD promotion approval process. It took a month for that to happen and has been sitting where it is now for three weeks. When I got promoted to MAJ it took 4 and a half months for the whole process.
