Retired Army General Arrested, Indicted on Child Rape, Incest Charges

It is people like this in our ranks that give our service worse than a bad name. I recently viewed the case where a Canadian Col was breaking into his neighbors homes and stealing their underwear, bad enough. He then got up the nerve to break into one of his female soldier home where he raped sliced up this young soldier. He then had the radiosity to attend her memorial ceremony and spoke about her.
I was stationed in Germany many years ago and a young German girl was raped and murdered by one of another units soldier.
What drives a person to enter the service and continue in their deviate behavior. It gives all of us that have worn one our nations service uniforms a bad name to say the least! As we all can attest there is no rank level missed by their deviate action. It is really upsetting when it is an officer or a senior NCO. We are supposed to have high moral character, and honorable.

The sad part about it is that there are generally signs pointing to the degenerates behavior, but often they might be over looked due to their position or rank or both in the case of the soon to be ex-general should it be proven that he is guilty. There is no excuse for harming anyone, let alone an innocent child. Additionally if there was no deviate behavior conducted when active he may live in prison as a general.

LTC James McElreath - True enough, I can't disagree with what You say there are far too many cases that bear it out. I can think of others so its not like it has never happened before. I can't even begin to fathom doing that to Your own child let alone any child. With 40 years in Law Enforcement, both civilian and Military I have seen cases and took those people into custody to be charged with that crime. In most cases its a family member that end up turning them in.
