On April 2nd, 2020, Brother David Wilson was promoted to the rank of Major General of the US Army making him the first African American to achieve that rank as a graduate of The Citadel Military College here in Charleston, SC. This was done in Korea and although the coronavirus impacted the number of those in attendance at the ceremony, more than 1,000 viewed the ceremony via online media. Salute Thumper! Spr 88 BM!
