Very sad this had to go all the way up! What a waste of time of our government officials. Should have been a split second decision to honor them.

That was a long overdue move, the female pilots in the WASP program, Woman's Air Service Pilots. were full time and flew all sorts of Military aircraft, fighter, bombers anything in the inventory but not in combat. They wore military uniforms, marched, lived in barracks, flew Military aircraft. These woman earned that right and honor a long time ago !
