Spin the turret counterclockwise on the M113 52 times to unlock it so we can pull it out for maintenance. If you go 53 times it resets. MAKE SURE YOU COUNT EXACTLY 52 TIMES.

LCpl Grant Garrison - The even funnier part is we would have them count out loud to help them keep track, then we would sit back and listen. Then, at some particular point in their counting when they would be getting close, we would go up and distract them with something long enough to question what number it was that they left off on.

Check the tank for soft spots with a ball-peen hammer and chalk....main gun boom test....tank exhaust sample, etc.

SSG Timothy McCoy a Boom Test is when you have a brand new tanker, be it a PVT or 2LT, place their mouth at the end of the main gun tube while someone else is inside and you have the newbie holler as loud as they can "BOOM" and repeat until the fun wears off!!

This is funny as HAIL, I wish I could have come up with something half as good as this.
The only I could come up with , was a call test. Having a newby hold on to the bare ends of commo wire as the 312 was cranked. I wouldn't get shocked as I held the bare ends of the commo wire because I would hold on to the plastic coating. then the newby would want to hold the bare end again.
