How can I make corrections to my file within the My Board File system?

Hello RP Family. Here's my anxiety question since MBF just opened up: As I'm reviewing my file to ensure everything is correct for this years board, I noticed none of my MOVSMs reflect in MBF. This was the only issue I saw besides having an ASI Award that was in my OPMF but not MBF. I uploaded all my 638s into my OPMF, as my S1 tried to upload the certs and never go through. Any suggestions?

Just a hint from a former S-1 NCOIC: When sending documents to your OMPF/iPERMS for your board file, ensure that the S-1 clerk scanning your documents notes that the documents are for your board file in the comments field. That way the documents will be given priority for uploading. Otherwise, you could be looking at 2+ weeks for a document to get into your OMPF.

SSG(P) (Join to see) appreciate the feedback. It sucks as I always ensure my records, ERB, etc. is squared away but when I opened my board file, something's were missing. But I'm fighting to get this squared away as well before I certify everything is correct.

The MOVSM will not show in your MBF because only certificates will show in the MBF, not 638's. The MOVSM is only a written award and there is no certificate for the Award. The board members only review the certificates because they have to get a quick synapsis of what you did to achieve the awards. You will still need to wear it of course in your DA Photo because they will review your ERB to ensure it matches. Hope this helps.

No problem, I ran into the same issues before I had my files reviewed. My unit S1 did not know why some of my ARCOMS were not showing up and I had to talk to a friend of mine who had sat on boards before and he explained it to me.

MSG (Join to see) I have two MOSVMs and the DA 638s are permed but do not show in the board file. They do not pull 638s. The HRC person I talked to about it said that as long as you wear it in your DA photo and its on your ORB (or your ERB in your case) then that is enough for the board as they know you need to have proof in order for it to be updates on your ORB/ERB. If you free that it needs to be addressed you can do a letter to the board. The ASIs would need to be added by HRC or if your unit has the ability to add it to your record brief.

LTC (Join to see) I appreciate the feedback sir. My branch manager mentioned the same thing to me. It worried me as This is the first time my board file opened and I just want to ensure I do everything on my end correct before I certify my board file. Thank you again sir.
