I have a question, i'm being honorably discharged from the army and I've only been in 1 year and 5 months. I had a bonus as well, since I had a bonus and i'm being discharged early will I still qualify for DITY move money and per diem? I've had a few friends get honorably discharged that were single soldiers i'm a married soldier and the army took their entire last check plus per diem and they also had a bonus.

Geez that is a almost impossible question to answer. You'd be best of to as a JAG attorney for advice. Unless there are any on here my legal experience is strictly civilian sorry. I suggest you be honest with the attorney and tell the attorney all circumstances

Interesting question PV2 (Join to see) To be honest if you are being honorably discharged with no future obligation I would expect that the government transportation office would authorize you to have a DITY move. I doubt that you would be authorized per diem. If you cash in unused military leave days you may have cash to get you by until you arrive at your home of record [my assumption].
Depending upon the contract requirements you signed to receive your enlistment bonus,
1. you may have to repay the government for unfilled obligations of you enlistment contract..
2. the government may waive the bonus requirements since you are being discharged honorably
If I were you, I would let your chain-of-command that you want to understand the requirements and that you would be allowed to get a JAG appointment as soon as possible.
Thanks for mentioning me, my friend SGT Michael Thorin.
