So the infantry was an all male mos. The male pft/cft standards are what the whole infantry had to abide by because it was an all male mos. Now females are allowed in the infantry mos. The females still have their own standards even though they are in the infantry. For the projected, I repeat projected standards a male in my age bracket has to do 23 pull ups to earn 100 points towards his pft score. A female has to do 9 do earn the same 100 points. How has the standard in the infantry has not lowered if they are now allowing Infantry Marines to do 9 pull-ups instead of 23?
I am an 0341 Mortarman (yes my mos was allowed to keep man in it) I am trying to look at this from an unbios prospective. I think it is black and white at this point and no bios is needed. I just hate when polititions say the standard is not lowering when the standard was the male standard and now the female standard is allowed. If the female can uphold the male standard then I am more than willing to have her by my side. I am not that ingnorant to say no female can uphold the male standard. I welcome them if they can uphold the male standard.

I don't think there is an issue with the PFT and CFT score difference when you are looking at females gaining entrance to the infantry MOS's. There are now minimum physical requirements that are required to become infantry that are the same for both genders.

New Marine Corps fitness standards for combat weed out men, women alike
