The last scene is the "Highway of Heroes" which leads from Kingston to Toronto, Ontario. On the sad day that we must bring a member home for the last time, the bridges and over-passes are FULL of people - even in the middle of winter. We remember.
November 11 is Remembrance Day in Canada. As a proud daughter of 2 generations of Canadian military, the aunt-in-law to a current serving member, and the ex of a former Navy ensign, "Thank you" will never be enough. But it is meant with much love all my heart.

Very nice tribute. Its important to remember that are more than just American service members out there putting their lives on the line.

AWESOME video. Thanks. I lived in Halifax (well, Dartmouth, which is just a burb of Hali) for two years, and while I was there, I visited the Canadian Merchant Marine memorial there. It was...moving. Someone started chopping onions in my vicinity that day. Their sacrifice in WW2 is incalculable.
On another note, I didn't know you were Canadian!

Very much so. My dad was the telegrapher on a corvette during the Battle of the Atlantic. I have a major soft spot for all things Navy as well as sea water in my veins, hence the (necessary) trips to dip my toes in ocean waters :D
