Question for anyone actively serving or retired from the reserves, do junior enlisted promotions have the same tis and tig requirements as active duty? I just hit my 24 month tis and I have around 8 months tig as Pfc and I’m ultimately curious if there’s different requirements or if I’m currently eligible for promotion based on tis and tig.

They're the same.
There is a difference in the waiver requirement regarding limits, but otherwise it's the same.
If you've hit your TIS and TIG you should be promoted soon. I wouldn't worry about it, as they will back date your promotion so you don't lose out on pay.
If it takes too long just remind your NCO chain so they can push up the 4187.

Yup, its all the same regulation for reserves and active duty. Refer to ar 600-8-19 on apd.army.mil for further guidance.

Yes, they are the same. Your commander needs to sign approval on the 4187 that will advance you to SPC. If you just hit 24 months, relax. It'll come around.
