I didn't finish usmc boot camp, in my DD 214 says it was ELS, JDA1, RE-3F, and is Uncharacterized. Disclose of a wrist fracture that had happened 8 years ago, so they sent me to radiology and took x-rays of my wrist and found out i have a non union fracture, so doc told me all i need is a surgery to come back, but now is hard, because i was discharged for erroneous enlistment.

Best course now is work with Recruiter. He has the answers that matter. RE3 just means eligible but requires a waiver. It hinges on what you disclosed on medical forms the first time. If it was an oversight on your part that's different than knowing but failing to disclose. Any Recruiter can get the straight scoop for you. They'll probably request an ortho consult at MEPS and if he and MEPS doc sign off, you're on your way back to MCRD. ELS is Entry Level Separation - like you were never there in terms of military service accrued (almost). Make sure you tell ortho doc if you have problems, because if it bothers you then you probably won't make it through. Might not get a third chance and it would be better to get it fixed and/or heal rather than blow this second chance.

If you're working with a Recruiter, take all answers from him/her. Not internet strangers guessing or citing decade old policy, which tends to be common
