Any warrant officers(Army) know if you can waiver having time as an NCO? I’m in the ARNG so that may change things as it’s not active duty. I’ve been a 92Y for 6 years and there’s no slot for me to move up and pin my 5. I’ve considered the WO option before but I’m coming towards the end of my current contract and was wondering if anyone had an relevant information that may help?

The USAREC website has information on what waivers are available and information on the specific MOS you would like to apply for. If you want to be a Warrant Officer and continue your career in the Army, you can always put in a flight packet, I am sure your state, like everyone else, is hurting for pilots.

You can get a waiver for just about anything. I had 6 and commissioned at 52. So you and your Warrant Officer Strength Manager work together.
