I don’t see it as a jab at Mr. Trump. Without the capabilities of the US military what exactly is NATO? Does the US need NATO or does Europe need the US in NATO? We should have removed ourselves the day Merkel signed the petroleum deal with Russia. They can’t be your main enemy and trading partner at the same time.
