Once your presence in an organization negatively impacts it, you can expect your days to be numbered.

MAJ Ken Landgren - A choke hold will not cause asthma, resisting arrest and fighting with the police can.

MAJ Byron Oyler Sorry Nah, but the choke hold doesn't cause asthma. It may bring on a asthmatic fit but it does not cause the problem.
As for what actually killed him, do a 50 yard dash as fast as you can then lock your body up, your elbows, knees, hands in your back pockets, etc. Sorry brain just died but their is a specific term for it, and it can happen to anyone, asthma or not. Your body is fighting for air after being slammed and having all that weight on it and then immobilized and your not in the best position to catch your breath so you die from lack of oxygen enriched blood circulating through your heart and body.
