The Kurds have been more of an ally in the last 30 years than Turkey has since they joined NATO in 1952. Bush Sr left them hanging out to dry after the 91 Gulf War. That can’t happen again because if anything pops off in that region again, we’ll need their assistance. We should be working on creating an independent Kurd nation instead of kicking them to the curb... again...

I think Israel has nothing to worry about, but if it were to come to pass, Israel is quite capable of defending itself. They didn't have our help in 1948. They didn't have our help in 1967 or 1973. Hell, they shot AT us in the Suez War.
They'll be alright.
