The solution to all this is simple. Hold the vote.
The problem with all of this is the utter unseriousness of the folks leading the charge. Schiff spent two years telling us tails of secret squirrel knowledge he had that proved Russian Collusion. Nope.
Nancy "left her speech on he plane" when she gave her halting news conference announcing a formal impeachment investigation. My guess is she was all teed up to talk about obstruction and the release of the transcript of the phone call kneecapped that narrative.

For the love of Christ. We have been at this for almost three years now, and near as I can tell the only thing the accusations do is point out the things that democrats have been doing... the exact same thing.
We all know - even the most rabid anti-Trump people know this - there is no chance at all of a Senate conviction.
Whatever.

Correct, the Senate Republicans don't care about any criminal activity by Trump, or Trump associates, because they are getting much of what they want. SCOTUS appointments, tax breaks for the elite, and roll back of environmental protection rules.
Trump asked for "a favor " and for the President of a foreign nation from which he was withholding millions of dollars, Guiliani isn't a member of the State Department, Guiliani associates tied to Ukraine have been arrested, and more will likely follow.
Finally, just as there is no legal requirement for Trump to keep his campaign promise to release his taxes, there is no legal requirement for the House to hold a vote for any impeachment inquiry. If there is--post it. Precedent is moot because Republicans changed House rules with regard to committee subpoena authority.
There is no evidence that can be presented to change Trump supporters mind.
Some may be sick of the investigations. Frankly, I'm sick of the daily lies by Trump, the crimes of his associates, and the Republicans fear of Trump and election blowback, rather than the rule of law.
My condolences to the families of Frunas and Parnas for their untimely suicide, or whatever their manner of death may be.
I assert Trump will have a need to pardon more than Manafort whenever he leaves office, and will likely need a pardon, himself.

Capt Gregory Prickett - That didn't stop them from voting on it the last four times. My guess is that they don't have the votes and are investigating for the purposes of swinging the last few recalcitrant Dems to the cause.
But hey, maybe they will find something this time. The fools on Congress are ever so much better at this than Mueller and his team was.

Capt Gregory Prickett - I'm not talking about those. I am talking about impeachment votes on Trump, the last of which was this past July.

Capt Gregory Prickett - True. What I am saying is that suddenly they are apprehensive about taking a vote that they have taken four other times. I can only surmise from that that the reason to not do so is that they don't have the votes (like the previous four times) but this time they don't want it to fail. Now the Speaker's prestige is on the line. She can blow smoke about process and seriousness and blah, blah, blah, but the real deal is they don't have the votes, and want to do it the way that they are.

Or if you prefer an analogy, the GOP voted dozens of times to repeal Obamacare. That was all well and good when they knew that Obama would veto it. But when Trump took office, all of a sudden they were scared to proceed and in fact chickened out for fear of electoral consequences. Show votes sound good until reality of passage actually sinks in.
